Sounion Tours

Cape Sounion is located on the far Southern end of the Attica Peninsula.  From the Dark Ages, the Athenian’s   honoured the Goddess Athena and the God Poseidon.

On this tour, you will be taken along the scenic coastal road, passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni) and admiring the splendid natural gulfs of Lagonisi, Saronida and Palaia Fokaia.

In less than an hour we will arrive in Sounion.  There you will visit the remains of the 5th Century B C Temple of Poseidon and experience one of the world’s most breathtaking panoramic views.  On a clear day, you will also see the islands of the Argo-Saronic Gulf.  The location also offers a beautiful sunset on a gorgeous summer afternoon.
